Please get in touch with our Homes Care team here to assess your needs.  Purely social visits are just as vital as care and support.  It can be very lonely being at home alone.  So many people miss having someone to talk to and have a cup of tea with.  Some clients have lost a bit of confidence, perhaps after a fall, or an illness.  You may be feeling worried about doing the things you used to do.  A regular social visit from a friendly carer could be just the boost you need to get you back on your feet, in the home you love.

Of course, we can also discreetly check the laundry situation and the dates on the food in the fridge, if required, ensure the cat is fed, or any number of other little things.  Some families have a contact book for our carers to write in, to ensure that there is continuity with other carers and messages are passed on quickly.

We can come for a variety of reasons, take you out in a car to meet friends, a trip shopping or simply a chat, a cup of tea, and walk to the park with you, to get you out of the house.  Your carer can visit several times a day to check you have what you need, or whenever required to supervise the taking of medication, for people with sight problems or other issues such as a stroke, Dementia, or Parkinsons - keeping people independent in their own homes for as long as possible is a vital service.  We aim to help you maintain your independence in whatever way you feel is best for you.  Many of our families pay for their care privately, but in other cases your Local Authority may offer support - please call for advice if you need it.  We offer a full range of services including elderly care, emergency care, convalescent care, nursing care, respite care, Stroke care, 24 hour live-in care.  It is worth enquiring if you need care at home so you can have a better quality of life.

Whatever your needs, we are there to offer the care that you want so you feel safe and can support you to manage your daily life at home. Our managers are always available to help you find the best option.  Do not hesitate to contact our team, if you would like to know more.
